A transformed life is not proven by how many Bible verses you can quote, how loudly you worship, or how religious you appear before people. BUT BY THE KIND OF LIFE YOU LIVE DAILY.
TOPIC: *WHAT KIND OF CHRISTIAN ARE YOU?*
CIC88: *CELEBRITY IN CHRIST EPISODE 88*
Religious people: “BUT WE WERE GOOD OUR WHOLE LIVES!”
Jesus: “I didn’t come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Sinners: “So… we repent and trust Jesus?”
Jesus: “Exactly. Welcome home.”
There comes a moment when God opens your eyes and you finally realize that the life you were living was not the life He called you to live.
_The truth may challenge you._
_The truth may convict you._
_The truth may require you to change._
But the truth will also set you free.
*When you genuinely encounter Jesus, transformation begins.*
_Your desires change._
_Your priorities change._
_Your attitude changes._
The things you once loved may no longer satisfy you because your heart has discovered something greater.
You don't encounter Christ and remain unchanged.
📖 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
DON’T JUST KNOW THE TRUTH—LET THE TRUTH CHANGE YOU.
*Stop, reflect, and ask yourself: Has my encounter with Jesus truly changed me?*
“WHEN YOU TRULY ENCOUNTER THE TRUTH, YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.” Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through HIM," -John 14:6
*NOTICE IT SAYS THROUGH CHRIST, NOT CHURCH ATTENDANCE, TITHING, CHOIR PRACTICE, etc*
There is a difference between doing good works and understanding why we do good works.
Some people say, “I do many good things, so I deserve heaven.” But salvation is not something we can earn by our accomplishments.
Our righteousness is not a trophy we can display before God. Salvation is a gift of grace. Others say, “God saved me, so I will continue doing good works.”
Good works should not be an attempt to purchase salvation—they should be the fruit of a life that has been transformed by God.
*And then there is the danger of becoming lukewarm:* knowing about God, receiving His blessings, but never allowing Him to truly change our hearts and lives.
The question is not simply, “How many good things have I done?”
*The deeper question is:*
“Who is Jesus in my life?”
“Have I truly surrendered my heart to Him?”
“Am I trusting in my works, or am I trusting in God’s grace?”
“Does my faith produce a changed life?”
Ephesians 2:8–9 reminds us that salvation is by grace through faith, not something we can boast about as though we earned it.
Yet Ephesians 2:10 also reminds us that we are created in Christ Jesus for good works.
*So grace does not give us an excuse to live carelessly.
And good works do not give us a reason to boast.*
*Grace saves us. Faith receives it. And a transformed life produces fruit.*
_Let your good works point people to Christ, not to yourself._
_Let your obedience be an expression of love, not an attempt to earn God's favor._
_Let your life demonstrate that your faith is more than words._
Don't trust in your goodness. Trust in Jesus. And if you have received His grace, let that grace transform the way you live.
*Examine your heart today.*
Are you cold, lukewarm, or truly surrendered to Christ?
*LET THE WORD OF GOD TRANSFORM YOU FROM THE INSIDE OUT!* You need the Holy Spirit to understand God's word NOT SEMINARIES OR BIBLE SCHOOLS.
You can not fill your mind with the things of this world all day and expect your heart to remain spiritually strong.
Whatever you continually allow into your mind will influence your thoughts, your decisions, your character, and eventually, your life.
*IF YOU WANT YOUR LIFE TO CHANGE, LET GOD'S WORD CHANGE YOU FIRST.*
The Word of God is not merely a book to read when you have free time. It is truth to believe, wisdom to follow, correction to accept, and a command to obey.
It exposes what is wrong within us, challenges our sinful desires, and reminds us of who God has called us to be.
*When your mind is filled with fear, fill it with His promises.*
*When your heart is full of bitterness, let Him teach you to forgive.*
*When temptation comes, stand firm on His truth.*
*When the world tries to pull you away from God, remain rooted in His Word.*
DON'T JUST CARRY A BIBLE IN YOUR HANDS—CARRY ITS TRUTH IN YOUR HEART!
A transformed life is not proven by how many verses you can quote, how loudly you worship, or how religious you appear before people.
It is revealed by your obedience to God, your love for others, your willingness to repent, and your faithfulness when nobody is watching.
*Jesus is the Living Water that satisfies the thirsty soul.*
The world may offer temporary pleasure, recognition, and success, but none of these can replace the peace and eternal hope found in Him.
So open your Bible. Seek God's presence. Renew your mind. Examine your heart. Put His Word into practice.
*LET HIS WORD REFRESH YOUR MIND, CLEANSE YOUR HEART, STRENGTHEN YOUR FAITH, AND TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE!*
📖 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 (KJV)
The greatest evidence that God's Word is working in you is not merely that you know more Scripture, but that you are becoming more obedient to Christ.
