Immediately you begin to think, "How can I benefit from God," You become BLIND.
How will I build a house? How will I get married? How will .... etc, you become BLIND. Whether in MINISTRY or As A CHRISTIAN don't ever think of how to use God to make money.
Think of becoming a living sacrifice. Holy and acceptable to the Lord.
*A living sacrifice is the act of offering oneself to God, surrendering one's desires and plans to God, and living in a way that is pleasing to God.*
A living sacrifice is an ongoing act of dedication to God, unlike the animal sacrifices of the Old Testament. *THOSE ANIMALS ARE DEAD SACRIFICES.* It involves giving up one's own ways and adopting God's ways.
*Romans 12:1* says, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship".
It involves aligning one's body, mind, and actions with God's purposes. It involves living in a way that is set apart from the world.
It involves believing in who God says one is and what God has promised for one. It involves being transformed and shaped by God's character.
It involves developing a godly wisdom and perspective through prayer and God's Word. Believers are to be holy and pleasing to God, which means living a life that aligns with God's will and character.
*RELIGION WILL ALWAYS BLINDFOLD YOU WHEN YOU BECOME SELFISH*
Sadly, many Christians are thinking about how they can benefit from God, hence becoming blind to the will of God for their lives.
Christians following false prophets are a bunch of selfish men and women. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT GOD, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR PROBLEMS.
When you start thinking of how to benefit from God, you become blind. But when you think "HOW WILL I PROSPER THE WILL OF GOD IN MY LIFE?" You begin to SEE.
*DO NOT WORK WITH GOD WITH A SELFISH HEART. BE SELFLESS!*
Don't ever think of how to use God to make money. THIS IS WHAT HAS MADE MANY PREACHERS TO DEVIATE FROM THE CALLING.
When you become "need conscious," you become blind. Just like the Pharisees of the Bible decided to sell doves, etc, in the temple.
*WE ALL HAVE NEEDS AND GOD PROVIDES THEM ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY IN CHRIST*
Jesus went in the temple in those days and scattered the items for sale. He said they had turned his father's house into a marketplace and den of thieves.
Today, a lot of our churches are experiencing similar issues. WE MUST RETURN TO THE GREAT COMMISSION, Preaching the true Gospel of Repentance leading to the Kingdom of God.
