*HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026 FROM PME AFRICA. WHY WAS IT SO IMPORTANT FOR JESUS TO BE BORN AND SHARE OUR HUMANITY?*
1. So that, in dying, he could free us from the power of death (Hebrews 2: 14-15)
2. So that, by becoming the final sacrifice for sin, he could reconcile us to God (Hebrews 5: 8-9)
3. So that, in experiencing temptation, he can better help us with our own temptations (Hebrews 2:18).
Because of Jesus, we no longer have to approach God through a priest, as the israelites did in the Old Testament. Christ's work makes God available to all who have faith in him. All WHO REPENT AND RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT.
*ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS:*
1. Are you following "JESUS" or "CHURCH"?
2. Are you "BORN AGAIN" or "CATHOLIC, BAPTIST, ANGLICAN, PROTESTANT etc"?
3. Are you STANDING OUT/SHINING BRIGHTLY for Christ or COMFORMING/LIVING IN DARKNESS?
4. Are you a "CONVERT" to a Religion called Christianity or a "DISCIPLE" of our Lord Jesus Christ?
5. Are you a "RELIGIOUS PERSON" or do you have a close "daily PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT"?
Jesus didn’t die to give us a “Religion“. A religion is what MAN made out of his death.
He died to restore our “Relationship With God” With the help of the Holy Spirit.
Religion selects a day of worship such as Fridays for Muslims, Saturdays for the Sabbath people, and Sundays for Christians. *BUT A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS AN EVERYDAY AFFAIR.*
Religion and Legalism is man’s *attempt* to accomplish *by his works* what can only be accomplished through *Christ Jesus* with the help of the Holy Spirit.
*BORN AGAIN is NOT A RELIGION.* It is a life that accepted Jesus and is changed/transformed by God through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
*A CONVERT KNOWS THE TEACHINGS BUT DOESN’T LIVE BY IT, WHILE A DISCIPLE LIVES BY IT, BEARING MUCH FRUIT*
God no longer dwells in an elaborately designed temple; we have become his house, his work of art. *WE HAVE BECOME THE BODY OF CHRIST* (That's if you REPENT and receive/allow/surrender to the Holy Spirit to dwell within you).
Which has greater honor, the builder of the house or the house itself? Obviously, the builder has more honor; the house is just one expression of his genius!
THE TRAGEDY OF OUR GENERATION IS THAT WE HAVE EXCHANGED TRUE SALVATION FOR CHEAP GRACE.
*We have embraced a gospel that promises:*
“CROWNS” without “CROSSES“.
HEAVEN without HOLINESS.
BLESSINGS without BROKENNESS.
*But:*
NO CROSS, NO CROWN.
NO Death to self, NO RESURRECTION.
NO REPENTANCE, NO REDEMPTION.
*They say the churches are full, but heaven is NOT.*
They ATTEND CHURCH, but only to *SOOTHE THEIR GUILTY CONSCIENCE.* And appear religious.
Going to church has become a performance, a mask, a religious TRADITION without any TRANSFORMATION.
A show of HOLINESS that ends at the CHURCH DOOR.
*ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST, BECOMING BORN AGAIN AND BEING LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS SUPERIOR TO ANY RELIGIOUS SYSTEM.*
The churches Jesus and his disciples built were PEOPLE, not BUILDINGS. *REMEMBER THAT* People that chose the Jesus Way, repenting and receiving the Holy Spirit as a *TEACHER, & COMFORTER*
Romans 7:4; 2 Corinthians 11:2; and Ephesians 5:22–33 indicate that the wife of the Lamb is the Church. In light of these identifications, it is evident that Revelation 19:7–9 refers to the marriage of Jesus Christ to the Church and the subsequent marriage supper.
Consistently, ‘the bride’ is a metaphor or an image that refers to the people of God, more specifically the people belonging to Jesus.
The bride herself is a figure for those very saints who do the righteous acts through faith in the Lamb and who together make up the church of the Lamb (Body Of Christ).
*RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOT BY YOUR POWER OR MIGHT/WORKS BUT BY THE POWER AND PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU! SO REPENT AND RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT*
REMEMBER: Faith is NOT proven in ABUNDANCE. It is proven in LACK/SILENCE. We "BELIEVE TO SEE", not "SEE TO BELIEVE". So, *NEVER GIVE UP!*
The *Truths* of God's word changes the *Facts.* For we work by *Faith NOT by Sight*
SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE! SAY IT AND BELIEVE IT.
*Good things* come to who "Believe"
*Better things* come to those who are "Patient"
… but The *Best Things* come to those who "NEVER GIVE UP."
*YOUR COMFORT AND YOUR CALLING CANNOT COEXIST.*
Many think blessings are only about material things. But true blessings begin from within. *WHEN YOU HAVE PEACE THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN, THAT IS THE FOUNDATION OF ABUNDANCE*
Watch your THOUGHTS. They become *Words* …
Watch your WORDS. They become *Actions* …
Watch your ACTIONS, they become *Habits* …
Watch your HABITS, they become *Character* …
Watch your CHARACTER. *IT BECOMES YOUR DESTINY*
