SIN CONSCIOUSNESS or RIGHTEOUSNESS CONSCIOUSNESS?: PART 15 of *I BELIEVE IN GOD vs I OBEY GOD | TO CHURCH vs TO GOD*
Until a believer walk NOT as one trying to become righteous, but as one who is already righteous in Christ, HE WILL FOREVER CIRCLE THE WILDERNESS OF DEFEAT.
Sin CONSCIOUSNESS is a cruel master because it parades itself as PIETY.
It whispers that to always see yourself as wretched is humility before God when in truth, IT IS UNBELIEF IN THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS.
Yes, Jesus has PAID IN FULL FOR ALL YOUR SINS, JUST REPENT, BEGGING AND CRYING FOR HELP AND ASSISTANCE, and his Holy Spirit will teach you all things regarding the things of God.
Sin Consciousness builds an alter where Satan himself becomes the preacher, condemning the saints with memories of failure, accusing them with past sins long buried in the grave on calvary.
And so, many walk around with bowed head and heavy consciences, believing that the more guilty they feel, the holier they are.
But listen, Guilt has NEVER set a man free, Condemnation has NEVER broken a chain, Shame has NEVER empowered holiness.
*SIN CONSCIOUSNESS ENSLAVES THE SOUL DEEPER INTO THE VERY THING IT MOURNS OVER*
The man who constantly meditates on sin becomes more and more entangled in sin. *FOR HIS EYES ARE FIXED NOT ON CHRIST, BUT ON HIMSELF.*
While the man who constantly meditates on the word of God becomes more transformed by it.
Righteousness Consciousness is the secret of freedom. Not the righteousness of our own, not the filthy rags prophet Isaiah spoke off. *BUT THE SPOTLESS ROBE CHRIST CLOTHES US WITH FROM THE MOMENT WE BELIEVE*
1 Corinthians 1:30 explains that believers are in Christ Jesus because of God's action, and in Him, Christ has become their wisdom, righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
This verse emphasizes that all spiritual qualities and salvation come from God through Christ, not from human effort or wisdom.
*THIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOT EARNED. IT IS GIFTED*
It is NOT improved by EFFORT. It is received by FAITH. It is from this place that Holy Living Flows. Not as a desperate attempt to win salvation but as a joyful response to a salvation already secured.
*WE LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US, AND THE FRUIT OF THAT LOVE IS OBEDIENCE*
We live righteously NOT to become righteous, but because *WE ARE RIGHTEOUS IN HIM*
When the heart awakens to this truth, chains begin to fall.
The believer who knows he has a new nature in Christ will no longer say "I am just a sinner." HE WILL SAY "I WAS A SINNER, NOW I AM A SAINT, I WAS BOUND NOW I AM FREE, I WAS CONDEMNED NOW I AM JUSTIFIED".
Romans 8:1 states, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus".
This verse declares a freedom from judgment and penalty for believers because their union with Christ makes them exempt from the condemnation of the "law of sin and death".
