The FOUNDATION of a true Christian is "ABSOLUTE TRUST IN CHRIST ALONE."
True Christianity begins NOT WITH DOING, but in *BELIEVING* ! Not in ourselves, not in our morality, not even in our ability to stay faithful, *BUT IN CHRIST CRUCIFIED, BURIED, AND RISEN AGAIN.*
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast." - *Ephesians 2: 8-9*
*TO BE A CHRISTIAN IS TO PUT YOUR FULL AND TOTAL TRUST ON WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS*
Not in your prayers, your performance, or your church membership. It is to see yourself as utterly bankrupt before God and to put yourself upon the MERCY OF CHRIST.
No amount of confession, baptism, or good works can earn your salvation. *IT IS ALL OF GRACE* It is all of Jesus.
There's is a throne of judgment, and you will stand before it. The only acceptable plea is this: *"NOTHING IN MY HAND I BRING, SIMPLY TO THY CROSS I CLING"*
This is the first foundation. Without it, you may have RELIGION, but you do not have CHRIST.
There is no pastor, no prophet, no teacher, and no church denomination that should be your place of dependency. *DEPEND ON JESUS WITH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.*
What is Religion & Legalism?
By Biblical definitions, it is man’s *attempt* to accomplish *by his works* what can only be accomplished through *Christ Jesus* with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Legalism says, “Do, and God will accept you,” while Faith says, “God has accepted me, so I am empowered to do”
*Galatians 2:20* says, “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”.
Remember what the Bible says in 1st Corinthians 9:25-26 "Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. *26* Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air."
*WE AS BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS SHOULD AIM FOR AN EVERLASTING CROWN OF HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST WITH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT*
Do your part, Let God do his …
You Believe, God will do the Miracle …
You do the Difficult, God will do the Impossible…
You have Faith, God will bring the Breakthrough…
You do the Natural, God will do the Supernatural…
JUST TRUST AND OBEY. The Miracle can happen at any Moment.
