TOPIC: *Are You Spiritually Matured Enough To Handle Wealth?*

Some people are not financially blessed yet because they are not spiritually mature enough to handle the blessings that wealth brings.

*MATURITY IN THE SPIRIT PRECEDES MATERIAL BLESSINGS*

Too much wealth too soon will destroy you if you haven't first developed the character to sustain it.

Remember the story of the prodigal son? *Read Luke 15:11-32.* immaturity leads to the waste of a blessing.

God may be teaching you humility, responsibility, and wisdom in this season.

*HE IS MAKING SURE THAT WHEN THE BLESSING COMES YOU WONT JUST SPEND IT, YOU WILL STEWARD IT*

When you're mature, you understand that wealth is NOT just for you. *IT IS FOR THE KINGDOM* You're being prepared to be a conduit of blessing, not just a consumer.

*DELAY IS NOT DENIAL* It is divine preparation.

God is preparing you for something bigger, something greater, but he will not release it until he knows you can handle it.

*God Wants You To Rely On Him NOT On Material Wealth*

Material wealth can become something that diminishes your dependence on God.

The world teaches you to chase after riches, as if money is the ultimate provider. But GOD IS THE ULTIMATE PROVIDER .

When the israelites wandered in the wilderness, it wasn't wealth that sustained them. It was manna from heaven. So , in your wilderness season, you need to go closer and rely on God to sustain you.

*FOCUS ON JESUS* Read Deuteronomy 8:3. Those marked by God for his purposes often find themselves in season of lack because God is teaching them this foundational truth.

*IF YOU HAVE HIM, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING*

The absence of financial abundance is designed to deepen your faith, to remove the false sense of security that money brings and bring you down to your knees in prayer. Seeking God as Jehovah Jireh (Your Provider).

*YOU MAY BE BROKE, BUT YOU'RE NOT ABANDONED*

You're being trained to trust God. *Read Psalm 50:10* Money is a revealer of character. *ARE YOU SERVING GOD OR ARE YOU SERVING MONEY?*

Your motives matter. Are you pursuing wealth or God’s will? *Read Matthew 6:24* You CAN NOT serve both God and money. God allows financial struggles to strip away the pride, self-reliance, and greed that can so easily entangle us.

He wants to know that when the blessings come, your heart is pure, and your motives are right. He wants to know that you will use what he gives you for his purposes, NOT for self glorification.

He doesn't want you corrupted by wealth but as a tool to *BLESS OTHERS AND ADVANCE HIS KINGDOM*

The struggle is to refine you, NOT punish you.
