In the battle between the FLESH and the SPIRIT, the one you feed is the one that grows. If you're struggling, don't wait until it escalates.
Recognise the signs, take action, and strengthen your spirit daily. The stronger your purpose, the greater the opposition you would face.
PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD.
*Here are 5 powerful reasons why even the most devoted believers struggle with Temptations*
1. The War between the FLESH and the SPIRIT.
2. Isolation and the absence of ACCOUNTABILITY.
3. Hidden Sin, which allows temptation to grow stronger.
4. Without RENEWING THE MIND, true transformation remains out of reach. STUDY THE BIBLE DAILY. Romans 12:2.
5. The Devil targets those with a purpose.

*1 Corinthians 10:13* says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. "
Resisting temptations begins with cutting off access points. Samson kept returning to Delilah instead of cutting her off. And he paid the price for it at the end.
Lust and temptation don't stay small. They lead to destruction if left unchecked. King David had multiple opportunities to resist, to turn away, to flee, BUT HE DIDN'T.
*UNDERSTAND YOUR TRIGGERS*
The moment you start justifying thoughts like "I can handle it" or "it's not that serious" you're already slipping. REDIRECT YOUR FOCUS BACK TO GOD BY RENEWING YOUR MIND.
Secondly, guard your eyes and mind. The battle begins in the mind and heart long before any action takes place.
*Matthew 5:28* says, "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart".
Thirdly, flee from temptation like Joseph and portifahs wife. You don't stay and fight lust. You run from it towards Jesus instead.
*YOU DONT RESIST LUST BY STANDING STILL, YOU REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE SITUATION TOTALLY*
Finally, stay spiritually active. Do not be idle. Keep growing spiritually in Christ. The less you engage with your spiritual weapons, *"Prayer, Fasting and God's Word,"* the weaker you are in the face of temptation.

*The flesh will always battle the spirit, but you decide which one wins!*
