You can not keep opening the door to the very thing you are praying God will remove. Lust, Hatred, Envy, Greed, Evil thoughts.

Every time you entertain sin, you give the enemy a foothold.

Ephesians 4:27 KJV

“Neither give place to the devil.”

Notice the command.

*GIVE NO PLACE. STOP GIVING THE DEVIL ROOM IN YOUR LIFE.*

Do not give sin a corner.

Do not give temptation an opportunity.

Do not keep feeding what you are asking God to destroy.

And when temptation comes, do not negotiate with it.

RESIST IT.

*James 4:7* KJV says:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Submit to God.

Resist the devil.

Close the door.

Do not invite back what God is telling you to cast out.

Some doors need to be closed before you can stop wondering why the same battle keeps coming back.

*YOUR SOUL IS TOO PRECIOUS TO KEEP GIVING SIN A PLACE.*

STOP HIDING IT.

The sin you keep hiding is not getting smaller.You are only getting MORE COMFORTABLE WITH IT.

What you keep feeding will eventually
START FEEDING ON YOU.

Do not confuse
SECRECY WITH VICTORY. A hidden sin is still sin.

And the longer you carry it, the harder you fight to let it go.

*STOP MAKING PEACE WITH WHAT IS DESTROYING YOU.*

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but who so confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
Proverbs 28:13 kjv

*CLOSE THE DOOR.*

*SUBMIT YOURSELF TO GOD.*

*RESIST THE DEVIL.*

Heaven is for holy people, not for the ungodly and unholy. *IF YOU'RE NOT A MEMBER OF THE "KINGDOM OF HEAVEN" WHILE ALIVE ON EARTH THEN HOW CAN YOU DIE AND GO TO HEAVEN?* Read that again.

If you choose the "Kingdom of Darkness" while alive on earth instead of the Kingdom of light how can you make heaven?

*THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN*

The Bible clearly warns that in the last days people will be “unholy.”

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...”
— 2 Timothy 3:2 (KJV)

Notice that Paul was speaking about people. He did not merely describe an isolated action; he described the character and condition of people.

There is therefore a distinction between someone being called a sinner and someone being described as unholy.

*1. SINNER*

A sinner can be anyone who has sinned.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23

A person who falls into sin can repent and receive Forgiveness.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
— 1 John 1:9

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
— Psalm 51:10

*2. UNHOLY / IMPIOUS*

“Unholy” describes something or someone that is not holy, not set apart for God, or characterized by irreverence toward what is holy and sacred.

The Greek word used in 2 Timothy 3:2 is anosios, meaning unholy, ungodly, or impious.

Therefore, “unholy” should not simply be reduced to the statement, “this person committed a sin.”

It describes a condition or character that is contrary to holiness.

Persistent and deliberate rebellion against God is a serious spiritual matter.

“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins...”
— Hebrews 10:26

*WHAT DOES “SACRED” MEAN?*

Sacred means something regarded as holy, set apart, consecrated, worthy of reverence, or devoted to God.

The English word sacred comes from the Latin sacer, meaning holy, sacred, consecrated, or set apart.

The basic idea is something being set apart for God or treated as holy.

*For example:*

- Holy ground — Exodus 3:5
- Holy things — things dedicated to God
- Holy people — people set apart for God
- Sacred things — things regarded as belonging to or being devoted to God

*God's people are called to be holy because God Himself is holy.*

“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
— 1 Peter 1:15–16

*HOW CAN WE RECOGNIZE WHAT IS IN A PERSON?*

We cannot see another person's heart directly, but Jesus taught that fruit reveals the nature of a tree.

“For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
— Luke 6:43

*And:*

“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
— Matthew 7:20

*Jesus also warned:*

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
— Matthew 15:8

Therefore, our outward conduct matters. What is inside the heart eventually produces fruit in a person's life.

*DO NOT USE “GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART” AS AN EXCUSE FOR UNHOLINESS*

Yes, God looks at the heart.

“For the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7

But this does not mean that outward conduct is irrelevant. God looks at the heart, and the heart produces actions.

*Jesus said:*

“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”
— Matthew 12:34

And Scripture teaches us to present our bodies to God.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God...”
— Romans 12:1

*THE BODY MUST ALSO BE HONOURED*

The Bible says:

“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you...”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19

Therefore, a Christian should not deliberately use the body in a way that dishonours God.

*Holiness involves the whole person—our spirit, soul, and body.*

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:23

*MODESTY AND APPEARANCE*

The Bible also teaches believers to dress modestly and with godliness.

“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety...”
— 1 Timothy 2:9

If clothing exposes the body unnecessarily, a believer should consider whether that clothing reflects modesty and holiness before God.

For example, clothing that may appear adequately covering while standing can expose the thighs or body when sitting or moving.

Modesty should therefore be considered in real-life situations, not merely while standing in front of a mirror.

The goal should not be to impress people but to honour God.

*CHANGE YOUR MIND*

Do not hold onto an ungodly belief simply because it is popular.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...”
— Romans 12:2

Repent, turn away from sin, and pursue holiness.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
— Hebrews 12:14

*LIVE HOLY LIVES*

Jesus is coming for a people who belong to Him.

“That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
— Ephesians 5:27

So let us examine ourselves, repent of sin, separate ourselves from what is unholy, and pursue holiness.

*Live holy.*

*Live in obedience to God's Word.*

*Live ready for the coming of the Lord.*
