When we repent, when we surrender, when we accept Christ . He clothes us in righteousness.

*THE BENEFITS OF THE CROSS OF CALVARY & PARABLES EXPLAINED*

Sharing the Gospel can be difficult because it requires courage, patience, and love for others.

“Choose This Day Whom You Will Serve.” – Joshua 24:15

1️⃣ *What Is Righteousness?*

Righteousness is living in right standing with God. It is choosing God’s way over our own way.

The Bible says:

> “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…” – Matthew 6:33

*Righteousness is:*

• Walking in obedience
• Living in truth
• Having a clean heart
• Doing what pleases God even when no one is watching

It is not about being perfect. It is about being surrendered.

2️⃣ *What Is Unrighteousness?*

Unrighteousness is choosing sin over obedience. It is living outside God’s will.

*Unrighteousness includes:*

• Lying
• Gossip
• Pride
• Bitterness
• Sexual immorality
• Dishonesty
• Injustice

The Bible says:

> “The wages of sin is death…” – Romans 6:23

Unrighteousness may look attractive for a moment…but it always brings destruction in the end.

3️⃣ *The Battle Between Righteousness and Unrighteousness.*

Every day, we face a choice:

*Light or darkness?*
*Truth or compromise?*
*Forgiveness or bitterness?*
*Integrity or corruption?*

You cannot walk in righteousness and still love unrighteousness.

> “What fellowship has light with darkness?” – 2 Corinthians 6:14

Where righteousness enters, peace follows.
Where unrighteousness rules, chaos follows.

4️⃣ *The Fruit of Each Path*

🌿 Righteousness brings:

• Peace
• Favor
• Clarity
• Blessing
• Eternal life

🔥 Unrighteousness brings:

• Confusion
• Guilt
• Broken relationships
• Spiritual dryness
• Separation from God

Proverbs 14:34 says:

> “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Even in leadership, even in families, even in organizations — righteousness lifts, sin destroys.

5️⃣ *The Good News*

Here is the powerful truth:

We cannot become righteous by our own strength.

Our righteousness comes through Jesus Christ.

> “He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21

When we repent, when we surrender, when we accept Christ . He clothes us in righteousness.

6️⃣ *A Call to Choose*

Today God is asking:

*Will you continue in compromise?*
*Or will you stand for righteousness?*

Righteousness may cost you friends. It may cost you opportunities. But it will never cost you God.

*And when God is with you — you have everything you need in Christ.*

*PARABLES EXPLAINED*

In the Gospels, Jesus often used parables (simple stories with deep spiritual meaning) to explain what the Kingdom of Heaven is like.

Each one reveals a different aspect of God’s rule, growth, and invitation to people.

Here are some of the main “Kingdom of Heaven” parables and what they mean:

1) *The Mustard Seed (Matthew 13:31–32)*

The kingdom starts small but grows into something great and far-reaching.

*Meaning:* God’s work may begin quietly, but it becomes powerful and life-giving.

2) *The Yeast/Leaven (Matthew 13:33)*

A small amount of yeast spreads through the whole dough.

*Meaning:* The kingdom changes hearts from the inside and spreads influence everywhere.

3) *The Hidden Treasure (Matthew 13:44)*

A man finds treasure in a field and sells everything to buy it.

*Meaning:* The kingdom is so valuable that it’s worth giving up everything to have it.

4) *The Pearl of Great Price (Matthew 13:45–46)*

A merchant sells all he owns to buy one priceless pearl.

*Meaning:* Knowing God is the greatest treasure anyone can find.

5) *The Net (Matthew 13:47–50)*

A fishing net gathers all kinds of fish, then they are separated.

*Meaning:* At the end of time, there will be a separation between those who follow God and those who don’t.

6) *The Growing Seed (Mark 4:26–29)*

A farmer plants seed and it grows, even though he doesn’t fully understand how.

*Meaning:* God is always working behind the scenes to grow His kingdom.

7) *The Wedding Banquet (Matthew 22:1–14)*

Guests are invited to a king’s feast, but many refuse to come.

*Meaning:* God invites everyone into His kingdom, but each person must choose to accept.

*HERE IS THE BIG PICTURE:*

The parables show that the Kingdom of Heaven is:

*Already at work on earth*

*Growing quietly but powerfully*

*More valuable than anything else*

*Open to all who are willing to receive it*

Jesus used these stories to help people understand that the kingdom isn’t just a place — it’s God’s rule in the hearts and lives of people.

🌾 *The Sower and the Soils – Matthew 13:3–9, 18–23* 🌾

Jesus tells a story of a sower who went out to sow seeds — yet not all seeds produced fruit.

The same seed was sown, but the results depended on the condition of the soil. Likewise, God’s Word is the same for everyone, but its impact depends on the condition of our hearts. ❤️

Some hearts are hardened like the path — the Word can’t even enter.

Others are shallow like rocky ground — faith sprouts quickly but withers when trials come.

Some hearts are crowded with thorns — the worries of life and love of money choke spiritual growth.

But the good soil receives the Word, nurtures it, and bears much fruit — thirty, sixty, even a hundredfold! 🍇🌾

The question is not whether the Word has power — it does! *The question is: What kind of soil is your heart today? 🌱*

📖 "But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop..." (Matthew 13:23)

*Let us prepare our hearts to receive God’s Word deeply, obey it faithfully, and bear fruit abundantly.* 🌿

“Evangelism is not easy, but watching the people you love go to hell is harder and more painful.”

Sharing the Gospel can be difficult because it requires courage, patience, and love for others.

Sometimes people reject the message, misunderstand us, or ignore the truth. Yet evangelism is an expression of genuine love.

If we truly care about the eternal destiny of our family, friends, and neighbors, we will be willing to tell them about Christ.

The Gospel is God’s way of salvation for everyone. When we share it, we are obeying the Lord and showing compassion for souls.

Our responsibility is not to force people to believe, but to faithfully share the message and pray for them.

True love warns, cares, and points others to Jesus while there is still time.

📖 Mark 16:15
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

📖 Romans 10:14
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
