*HOUSE OF GOD vs BODY OF CHRIST (The Old vs The New) *PART 24 of I BELIEVE IN GOD vs I OBEY GOD | TO CHURCH vs TO GOD*

Jesus was NOT A PASTOR. *He travelled from place to place.* He went to temples (churches of these days) and taught people but wasn't considered a pastor. *HE WAS MORE OF AN EVANGELIST.*

He didn't participate in the RELIGIOUS RITUALS of pastors or the pharisees. He preached *REPENTANCE, leading to the KINGDOM OF GOD, which is to be experienced HERE ON EARTH* before we die and go to heaven.

Jesus, *NEVER SOLD* Holy water, Candles, Salt, Bulletins, Religious Books, Rosary, Anointing Oil (The Holy Spirit is the Anointing) or collected Tithes

*JESUS FOCUSED ON DELIVERING THE UNDILUTED WORD OF GOD* in the midst of persecution, slander, and gossip. We, as followers of Jesus, should DO THE SAME.

Jesus oftentimes spoke against the Religious leaders of his time. Calling the Pharisees hypocrites, etc. He also properly explained a lot of religious beliefs and laws.

1. *WHO ARE THE PHARISEES OF OUR TIME?*

2. *IS YOUR PASTOR LEADING YOU TO JESUS OR AWAY FROM JESUS?*

3. *IS YOUR PASTOR OPERATING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OR USING FAMILIAR SPIRITS AND OTHER SPIRITS OF THE ANTICHRIST?*

There is a difference between *THE HOLY SPIRIT and RELIGIOUS SPIRITS OF THE ANTICHRIST* God has called us to set the captives free using the Holy Spirit while the religious spirit keeps people in chains, sin, idolatry etc.

In *Matthew 21:12-13,* Jesus cleanses the Temple by driving out merchants and money changers, overturning tables to protest the commercialization of worship.

He declares the Temple a "house of prayer" rather than a "den of thieves," highlighting that unethical practices had corrupted the sacred space and hindered true worship.

*NOTICE THE TEMPLE (BUILDING) WAS REFERRED TO HOUSE OF GOD NOT BODY OF CHRIST*

Jesus was condemning the corruption of religious leaders and merchants who turned a holy place of prayer into a marketplace for extortion and profit.

*QUESTION:* Does your Church do harvest and bazaar? OR endless financial campaigns such as development Levy, Family Thanksgiving, etc.

*ANSWER: True worship should not be obscured by greed or commercialism.*

Jesus told us to GO INTO THE WORLD AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS. He never said we should STAY IN ONE PLACE EVERY SUNDAY and collect Tithes, sell Holy water, Anointing Oil, etc.

The *Body Of Christ* are the group of people that are a dwelling place of Jesus through his HOLY SPIRIT and on a mission to spread the Gospel of Repentance leading to Salvation and BRING PEOPLE INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

*Ephesians 2:19-22* declares that believers, formerly strangers, are now fellow citizens with God’s people and members of His household. Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus as the chief cornerstone, the church is being joined together into a holy, growing temple—a dwelling place where God lives by His Spirit.

*THE BODY OF CHRIST IS MADE UP OF "PEOPLE" NOT "BUILDINGS." GOD'S WAY ARE NOT OUR WAYS*

Just because you saw it done a particular way doesn't mean it's the right way or only way it can be done.

The Holy Spirit gives new insights and new revelation to reach NEW PEOPLE.

Many evangelists are not called to reach so-called Christians or churchgoers/believers. *THEY ARE CALLED TO UNBELIEVERS* So it's going to look and sound different. It's gonna require a different strategy as led by the Holy Spirit.

*YOU ARE THERE TO ATTRACT PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD*

The blind will see, lame will walk, healings will occur *by the power of the Holy Spirit.* PEOPLE WILL BE SET FREE AND DELIVERED. Breaking ungodly covenants, soul ties, demonic contracts, and Generational Curses.

*HOW IS THE CHRISTIAN LIFE SUPPOSED TO BE LIVED?*

True fellowship is not a mystical, super-intellectual flight into the great alone, but a RELATIONSHIP with the FATHER through CHRIST with the help of the Holy Spirit.

It is NOT about DYING and going to HEAVEN, It is about LIVING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, while alive on earth.

It's about allowing Christ to live through you after you have died to the lusts of the flesh. *A TRANSFORMED LIFE ALSO KNOWN AS BECOMING "BORN AGAIN"*

*“The main business of the Church is to win souls and make disciples”*

1. The Church Exists Because of the Great Commission

The Church was not established mainly for programs, buildings, or events—but for a mission.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” (Matthew 28:19–20, KJV)

Winning souls and making disciples is Christ’s final command, not an optional activity.

2. Winning Souls Is Bringing People to Christ

Soul-winning means leading people to repentance and faith in Jesus.

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10, KJV)

The Church must preach the gospel clearly so sinners can be saved.

3. Making Disciples Is More Than Gaining Converts

Jesus did not say “make members,” but make disciples.

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:20, KJV)

Discipleship involves teaching, mentoring, correction, and spiritual growth.

4. Every Believer Has a Role

Soul-winning and discipling are not only for pastors.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel…” (Mark 16:15, KJV)

Every Christian is called to be a witness.

5. A Church That Stops Winning Souls Loses Its Purpose

When a church focuses only on comfort, tradition, or numbers, it drifts from Christ’s mission.

“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.” (Matthew 9:37, KJV)

A healthy church is a sending church, not just a gathering church.

The main business of the Church is not entertainment, popularity, or prosperity—
but to win souls and make disciples for the glory of God.

If the Church obeys this mission, lives are changed and eternity is affected. ✝️🔥
